Dentist today. I have a smidgen of decay happening under a filling, so I need said filling replacing with something that will not let that happen. I have decided that its being a secret under-filling hole makes it somehow not my fault. Thus I win at teeth.

Kitten is keeping her food down less well. Fret. I have been mushing it up more and giving her less at once but if that doesn't work we are into Bad Places. I note that a year of trying to steel myself for this has been of no use whatsoever, but then that was to be expected.

I have fidgets these days. I wish I knew how the whole motivation thing works. I'm hiding from the cat at the moment so that she will eat her slightly mushy watery food instead of clawing me and demanding something less unappetising but also less appropriate, so that is obviously occupying my brain currently, but my levels of actual activity are pants anyway.

Sometimes I think that I need another exciting new hobby that I can actually do in the house, but then I remember all the many and varied crafty things I could be doing right now but never do. Bah.

One thing I can do now is take the washing out of the washing machine and drape it over some radiators. Then I might give the back room a bit of a preliminary tidy because it is AWFUL, and possibly make Baba go through the big pile of clothes in there that he may or may not still want. Although I do sometimes consider just giving it all to Oxfam since he doesn't seem to have missed any of it yet, I have resisted because I know I'd hate it if someone did that to my stuff. Which of course they couldn't because of my things being properly in the wardrobe where they live, but still.

Blah. Etc.

In other news, DVDs and CDs scanned in so far would cost US$5882.50 to replace on Amazon.com and I still have several rows to go. And CDs are cheaper in the US. Eek. That insurance thing really might be a plan. Poor people don't usually have insurance because of it costing money, but then poor people are also more screwed if all their Stuff goes on fire, so on balance it may turn out to be worth it. It's not as if it's all going to be worth that much by Real People standards after all.

Anyway. Catcheck and laundry.
