But it does not say! It asks! And inexplicably, I have not been mobbed by enraged thirteen-year-olds angry that I have dared to steal THEIR unique look that manifests their pain!
Maybe anything but pictures of puppies counts as conceptually adult? I must look up their examples. Or else be so dull that no child could possibly get through more than a sentence. That one's probably easier, really.

Logic dictates that there is some journal, somewhere on the LJ, which is dedicated to tracking infant mortality rates during the Plague of Justinian and quotes suitably florid Byzantine passages about the piteous wailing of the mothers. Its logical counterpoint is a journal with cat macros. The second of these will be considered for 'adult concepts' because there is a kitten snuggled in someone's decolletage.

Ooh, I forgot the icon bit. He is Henry the Human Fly, ie Richard Thompson wearing a cheap-and-crappy fly outfit for his album of that name. The words are from off of the last song. And the Nordic Angst thing was (according to, um, somewhere on the internet) a thing he said at a concert (presumably pulling a strange bearded smileface, as he does) and thus it all ties in quite scarily.
I have had it since my icons were made in MS Paint. I can never bring myself to make such icons unrubbish. I have also never found an icon I like enough more to change to it as default. Maybe I should find something slightly cheerier but I'd miss the fly.

btw, at the risk of sounding stupid/dull -- what is your icon from? Is it an Ice Warrior?

. . . er. I got nothing. But I'd been wondering about your icon for ages, so thanks.
