hurricane katrina.
friends,
ok. so, i am moving ahead with plans for the hurricane katrina
clothes drive. i talked with the dean just a couple minutes ago, and
we picked out a central spot on campus for people to drop off clothes. all i need to do now is:
decorate some boxes
make some posters
write a blurb for publish in the bearfacts and petracks jc newsletters
call the activities director and let him know what i'm doing
you wanna help me? i need something catchy but sincere. i was thinking of something like,
love the new fall fashions? make room in your closet by donating to a worthy cause!
i need to include: where to drop off the clothes (in the atreum next to la la cafe), the dates (monday the 19th-thursday the 22nd), that clothes should be clean and only gently worn, clothes ranging in sizes from infant to adult, mention of the 30 refugee families recently relocated to sacramento, and i think that's it.
any other ideas?
