mom and i typically run errands together every saturday. i say typically, because sometimes i sleep in after a night out drinking, and other days i sneak away to my cousin's little league game

there's this guy 'round here who called a local radio station and said "why should i even bother giving any money to people who are stupid enough to live there, especially when it is just going to happen again someday?" people like that sort of make me pukey inside. incidentally, that radio station, along with over 20 other stations in this area got together and did this combined "broadcast from the bridge/bridging the gap" fundraiser thing and raised well over $800,000 (last i heard, they were still taking donations for about a day and a half after that) for the relief efforts. woo!
i don't have much money 'cause i'm (sort of) an unemployed loser, but... i was watching the telethon on mtv last night (i told you i was a loser - i was home on a saturday night!) and they flashed this number on the screen. turns out you can send a text message and $5 will be added to your phone bill. so i did that twice. it's something.
you know, i was home saturday night too. i was watching forensic science/true crime shows on court tv and A & E but i did turn that concert thing on long enough to see that chester linkin park guy doing a song with motley crue and the orchestra peoples and stuff. um. that was enough for me, really. was there anyone more interesting on there at any point?
to tell you the truth, i had a migraine and was asleep by 9pm. fell asleep with the tv blaring. at least it felt like it was blaring. woke up again at 1am and the concert was over. i am mixing up the telethons in my head (the one from friday night and the one from last night). i basically saw twenty seconds from each one. i remember seeing john mayer, sheryl crow, and kelly clarkson last night, i believe.
i don't think so. my mom was telling me about the friday night telethon. she said, "i felt like my mom! i didn't know half the people!" i laughed at her and told her she should've called me.
my cousin, the mid-life crisis one, will sometimes watch mtv. he thinks he's "cool" and "hip" because he just bought the "new" gwen stefani album.
i feel like we're kinda/sorta IMing here. i wish i could download aim, but i use my roomie's computer and she'd probably die if there were an unrecognizable (to her) program on here in the morning.
and i LOVE those crime shows, especially cold case files and the first 48. also, i pretty much love dog the bounty hunter. i need to get out more often!
cold case files! my faaaave. well, behind forensic files, but from A+E's lineup that's my favorite show. hmm. my mom loves dog. i don't watch him much because every time i've turned it on, i see that one with the lupelayalalalalay lady on it.
