Kings College Chapel:
Does this really need explaining? Low sunlight, clouds in the right place, perfect. This is pretty much The view of King's College chapel you'll see on postcards and for good reason, it's very very pretty. Of course at the moment it's got scaffolding and is less pretty but I wanted a good photo to make up for the weekend lapse so here you are.
Cow
Not a great shot, but one of the best I could manage of the cows, they were in the shade and sufficiently far away that the C1050 couldn't get a decent shot of them. It took ages for them to look up for long enough to shoot, I have a large number of apparently headless cow photos due to waiting for them. The D60's 300mm lens would have made a better job of this.
Context:
And this photo explains the connection I hope. Tricky to take as I had to wait for the sun to go behind a cloud to get even close to the right contrast between the two subjects in this shot, even then the photo isn't great but you get the idea and that's the point of this photo.
In other news I've now officially been in my current job one whole year. Which is kinda scary when you think about it.
