Cardiff update:

Lectures a mixture of good and incomprehensible. An interesting mix really, I suspect I'll be reading my book on Statistical mechanics tonight to work out what happened while I doodled and wrote up NPCs.

The architechture here is outstanding, I've yet to find the Millenium Square but I'm seriously impressed by the general look of Cardiff, it has large white gothic architechture with angels and demons for the gargoyles. Yay!

Not too sure about the castle. Access looks to be a little confusing, which is a pity as it's got a great Norman keep I'd like to photograph.

Weather is hot and needs to be cooled down. This is not ameleorated by the lack of cold water in the accomodation, food is a mixture of good and bad but they have provided us with proper kitchens so I may wind up cooking yet. I suspect a trip to sainsburys will be in order for cold drinks if nothing else.

And I've realised what my problem is in reading Don Quixote, it's not funny. I know it's suposed to be funny and I realise a modern translation may actually be so. However I seem to have bought the out of copywrite 18th century translation. Which explains not only why it's taken me two months to get to page 70 but why it cost me a pound. I really ought to try reading some books I might enjoy on the train, I'd probably get through them faster.

Anyone got any recommendations/requests for me to complete while I'm here?
