Weekend trivialities.
Yesterday I went to a party in Pacifica. To some degree it was a Pensfa event, but that didn't really start until later, and Ian and I left after watching the sunset. I brought a watermelon for the potluck, but the potluck was rather short on food, and we couldn't get a meal's worth there.
Anyway, I'm further along in my knitting. The guys had fun playing with my son's one-child computer his grandma got him. It was a nice walk up the hill to watch the sun go down, and we had a good guide too.
Today was the day to get the car to stop bugging me. That did happen, but there is a heater core still to be swapped out, to take care of that oil spot on my carpet inside the car, and that needed parts, so that is going to be another 600+dollar bill sometime in the not too distant future. The emission thing is part of the recall, so I have to take it to a dealer to have that taken care of, but it has stopped flashing at me for the moment.
My son and I took two walks today, and I'm a little sunburned from the second. I've got an MSG headache from the pho place we went for dinner, but I'll go to bed soon.
The guy I was whining about a number of posts back, since I haven't been going to the dances he does, I haven't seen him, he hasn't called, he only returns emails where I push a button of his, and I haven't sent any of those, so looks like I am in the midst of a successful drift away. I shouldn't whine any further.
