Community and Weekends Ahead
Eh, wrote this Friday afternoon but I'll post it anyways. :)
I have a Community fangirl brain going on big time right now. All I want to do is watch the show over and over again, esp. last night's Modern Warfare ep, and esp. anywhere Joel McHale is shirtless or sleeveless... *droooooool* Also, I see a lot of myself in Britta, who doesn't seem to be liked much in the fandom, so what does that mean? (Don’t answer that, lol) Also, where can I get a Jeff Winger/Joel McHale of my own?!? This song puts me in stalker mode, mwahahahaha. I want my very own hot snarky guy whom I can trade pop culture barbs with....
Actually, sometimes I wish I merely had a friend physically around to trade pop culture barbs with, like entire dialogs from Chuck or Community.... I mean quoting on the intrawebs, like FB status back and forth, is one thing, but sometimes it's more fun in person. Anyways! :)
Shakespeare's at the groomers today, my sweet fuzzy boy. He's such a sweet goofball, when we were at the vet/groomer's this morning, he alternated hovering by me (mama's boy! I love him! lol) and tugging on the leash towards the front door, lol. Some guy had his two ferrets in a cage in the middle of the waiting room, and for the most part Shakespeare ignored them.. until they moved in their cage, then he tugged to go "meet" then.. Nope, sorry prey-driven terrier boy.. *g*
Tomorrow afternoon the Animal Aid Society, a fantastic all breed rescue group near me, is having a Pampered Pooch Dog Wash and People Massage. So I'm taking Lacey for a bath (hey, someone else bathes my dog, they get funding, win win!). I posted it on FB, so my dad decided he's bringing Adeline, so she'll get a bath and my dad will get a massage. Tomorrow afternoon should be fun, hee hee.
Then of course since Sunday is Mother's Day, the pups and I are going down to my folks' house. :)
Next weekend is booked up! Friday is my dad's birthday, Saturday is my STC chapter day conference in Richmond (which I still have to register for), and Sunday is the SPCA Paws for a Cause. Whew!
