Week in Review

First full week of work since we got back from Iraq. Since the meal selection there is horrible I now bring two Banquet frozen dinners each night and three sodas. I splurge on two Stoufers spaghetti dinners to "mix it up." Work was fairly uneventful. Met my new pilot, seems pretty cool, limp handshake though. Got out fairly early a couple nights. Tuesday I had a dental appointment, apparently I have a good amount of cavities since they have to do the repairs "a sector at time" and the first sector is an hour and a half appointment. This Tuesday I'm having my bottom wisdom teeth pulled and one of them is sideways. The doc said that his anesthetic of choice is an amnesiac, which does what it sounds like, knocks you out and you don't remember squat. Yea by the way on the sodas thing, after I finish the ones I've already bought I'm going to try and find a less cavity inducing alternative. Tomorrow I have to be at the gym at 630AM, and its 1230AM now. Its only a training day though. Saturday is the maintenance professional banquet.
Off duty was more eventful than last week. I finally ditched all the cell phones I've ever had at Best Buys recycling center. Some more of my comics came in, plus I got Snake Eyes Declassified #1 off eBay. I finally bought a dresser, which is partially filled. Its five drawers and I can only think of uses for four; one socks, one underwear, one long pants, one shorts. I'm not putting shirts in it because I have the walk-in closet for that. Bit of advice; don't put your weight on the cheap trim piece when the thing is made of pressure board and is only held on by a quarter inch thick piece of the same cheap pressure board. I did put it back on though. Got my new car fender Thursday and installed it today. If you remember I dinged it up last year by dragging it across a support post. The fits a little off but I think it can be adjusted. However the holes for the trim piece don't match up and there's an extra hole. The guys on the forum say it might be for a Sebring instead of an Avenger. I sent the seller's an email and luckily I didnt throw away the old one as was my impulse. I also beat Lego Star Wars II, it only took 41 hours and thirty-one minutes. Next is Resident Evil 4. I'm probably going to buy the original Lego Star Wars; which is about the prequels. At Best Buy I bought Weird Al's new album "Straight Outta Lynwood" featuring "White & Nerdy"
