ok, i was finally able to pick up my New York pictures from Wolf before they closed today...

and i love them! =) =) its been so long since i had film developed, i forgot how awesome the "surprise" of seeing your prints for the first time is. especially when you take pictures of skylines and they come out green. so glad i got these cross processed

I thought those spots are a result of dust on/in the lens?

P.S. I'm an ass... I'm sorry. The pictures are brilliant. I LOVE the New York 2005 picture with the book and the mug.

haha no youre not. but thank you. i felt stupid for taking that picture..i was like "nice way to waste a $13 roll of film courtney" but its cool that it came out blue looking. i need to experiment with cross processing more. (that is, when i can afford more of that stupid film)

thats possible! i didnt even think of that really. i know it is a REALLY old camera i was using (nikon coolpix 775)

but if it was, wouldnt it show up in every picture, not just the ones where the shutter stays open longer?

They probably are showing up, you just probably don't notice them as much because you don't have the shutter open as long, and it doesn't give them enough time to do their damage. You may want to blow on the inside of your lens, that could help.
