Music, like the rest of the world, is spiraling down into a sewer of crap.
It all starts with these lovely groups.. who are going to be on Warped Tour 2009, btw.
What the fuck happened to real music? You don't have to talk about your feelings and shit, but at least don't be so ridiculously obnoxious.
Those groups remind me of all the ridiculous college kids I see running around every fucking day and night. The dumb ass kids that seriously make me wonder how and why they're here in these institutions of higher learning. Higher learning means you should have more sense than to get mindlessly drunk every day/other day/weekend/week. Higher learning means that you should know your limits, and know that you're wasting your brain cells and liver. At least I know that I'll be able to get a job once I get out of college, because those fools will be too busy getting chemotherapy for all those wasted years, literally.
Now, all you people out there who do like to drink, don't get me wrong. I'm all for having fun, and I get that drinking is indeed all in the fun. And getting drunk once in a while is I guess acceptable; being tipsy is alright, but getting trashed/shit-faced/fucking wasted at least every weekend is the most irresponsible and ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Not to mention, comparing with your friends who could remember the least about their night out is SO classy.
I'm not anti-alcohol, or anti-drugs. I usually enjoy hanging around intoxicated people, because they make my nights fun sometimes. But it's when people are ridiculously intoxicated and obnoxious that I wonder why they're still living.
