If it don't rain, but it pours

This has been a really crappy first week of the new year. There sure as hell is nothing new about it, let me tell you.  It has really sucked so far. I felt like shit trying to stay up for new years. Kept falling asleep, it's a wonder I didn't sleep through it.  it must have brought me bad luck cause I slept through the last few new years cause I had to work now that I didn't have to work I stayed up and I think it sent bad luck my way.
I got a bunch of gift cards for Christmas, which I love cause that way I can get what I want and definitely enjoyed doing it. Got lots of great stuff and almost all of it on sale too.
So I'm trying to pull into a parking space so I can go to the pet store, well this asshole starts to back out, not looking left or right, which is getting to be a growing trend lately especially with elderly people. I find they seem to be definitely out to get me. I think after a certain age they should have to take drivers test every year or not bother renewing their license cause some of them out there just cannot drive or have too big of vehicles.
So, trying not to get off the track here, he backs into me, doesn't just stop at the bump but only when the metal of my quarter panel tears. So we get back into the parking spaces, what does he do within seconds he's right on the phone to his insurance company, so which had me thinking he's been in an accident or two before.  Even had a picture phone.  We exchanged information and she took pictures. I went to the pet store and did my shopping while they waited for their insurance company to call back.
They were told the agents were too busy to come out, which I could have told them that and we parted ways. No injuries on either part but I got a snapping migraine out of it, which I knew would happen. It rattled my cage something wicked.
So I go and get an estimate for repairs at 1300, which I couldn't believe for the tear that he had made but that was the estimate. I sent it on over to his insurance agency to see how he wants to handle it and he starts to put up a fuss that it was too much to pay out because I had a for sale sign in the back window. I had been trying to sell the car for awhile now but didn't have much luck. So now he's going to get estimates on the book value and how much a car like mine would sell for and if the repair estimate was more than the book value and if it was he didn't feel he should pay and they most likely are going to write it off.
Only thing I can say is if they don't pay, fine, but if they write off that I can't drive it there is going to be some serious hell to pay cause I need a car right now even though I'm not working I could still be called in at any time.
I've been looking around and found some seriously nice cars for some really decent prices so now I just have to wait until I see what they are going to do before I can continue. But I think it is going to boil down that I plan to have a new car within the next few months.
Then to top it all off, my computer is almost to a point that it won't work correctly anymore. I think I can practically see that little back raincloud hanging over my head and would give anything to send on it way.
