Been a while poem wise.

But here's the start of a new one.

I wish it were that
my Red Suite had too high a cost.
you made the split
with your swaying ghost
the clerk needed a commitment
I worked a smile at the door
to get one night out of this place.
all for you
not even putting down payment
I bore the entire drive
on the words of a halfway man
who left for believing
I'm to be alone for staying.
drinking in the empty double
stuck with the heavy bill
all for you
taking a room for two
trying to fit three

I'm still working on the Minotaur/Dora Maar one for my parents, but I've been so stressed with all the rhubarb round here. Oh well, I'll be back at school soon.

Edit: I made a few changes and figured they get my point across more. I'm liking the voice of this one.
