True to form, I am posting about another illness. 'Tis the plight of the nanny. I can't wait till this job is over.
Anyway, sore throat. Sore ear. Suck.
Do you think I only post when I'm sick because it's the only time I slow down enough to write something? And then the only thing on my mind at the times i slow down is how crappy I feel. Therefore, y'all get to read about my ailments. Sorry.
Now here's the poll:
What should I wear to Sarah's sister's wedding in Memphis in July? A fabulous dress, or a perfectly tailored suit? The weather begs for a dress, but damn, I love the suits! But Sarah has to wear a suit to stand up in the wedding, and hers will be champagne in color, which may be tough to pair with another suit. But if I wear a dress and she wears a suit, does that play into any butch/femme stereotypes they may have in the south? And by they I mean straight people. Then again, if we both wear suits, does that play into any "lesbians all want to be men" stereotypes they may have in the south? I have to do some research on this. I want to do whatever will make people think in the most constructive way possible. Hmmm.
Maybe I should go as Starlicia? That would make them think, all right..."Is that or is that not a dude dressed like a chick? Go grab its balls and find out." "No way man, you do it." "No way, dude. What if its a chick?" "No effing way that thing's a chick! Go find out." "But if its not a chick, then I'll be grabbing a dude's balls." "So what? It'll probably like it." Starlicia may just have a date in July. What do you think, Sarah? Tee Hee!
