Birthday 2005
It was my birthday about this time last month, and I still do not know how I feel about that. It was a pretty bad birthday, to tell you the truth. I had a Pre-Calculus exam that day and it rained and I had just found out about the divorce and everything else was really messed up, too (but I won't bother you with all of that, as a lot of it is in the past, by now). I had wanted to do something for my birthday, but everyone was busy with exams and it just didn't work. Ashleigh and Marielena saved the day, really. They stole me away to Marielena's house and threw me a three-person party, which ended up being a lot of fun. Thanks, you guys!
I got some pretty great gifts, though, which included The Who's "Tommy", The Beatles' "Let It Be" (only three Beatle albums to go before I own them all!!! ha ha ha!), Pink Floyd's "Piper at the Gates of Dawn", a super cool journal and picture slideshow (featuring my favorite androgynous rockstars/actors) from Marielena, and TICKETS TO SEE IT'S A KINDA MAGIC, THE QUEEN TRIBUTE BAND, IN SEPTEMBER!!!! (Carson, you crazy sonofabitch! I love you!!!!)
