Holy shit, I love Pink Floyd.
I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love Pink Floyd. (Don’t worry Dante, the Beatles are still my #1 ... but Floyd draws in a close fucking second). I mean, fuck they are brilliant! Roger Waters was/is a fucking genius!!! They just completely blow me away ... Hell, it’s sickening how much I love them, man. Just - GAH!!! Wow!
Anybody here got a favourite Pink Floyd album?
Most would probably tell you that their favourite Pink Floyd album is either Dark Side of the Moon or The Wall ... amazing albums, yes, truly brilliant. Personally, though, Wish You Were Here and The Piper at the Gates of Dawn just fucking mesmerises me. Particularly Wish You Were Here; I can’t listen to it without fawning over the undoubted talent of the group. I seriously don’t even know what to fucking do with myself sometimes while listening to them, because I feel like I am not worthy of hearing such things. Sad, I know. But that’s the way it is. I don’t know if any of you can understand how much I love them, but if you do you’ll know what I meant by that last statement.
Man, they were brilliant.
