So, as of the moment, I have totally lost my voice. I called in sick to work on Friday (runny nose like Usain Bolt (that's his name, right?)), Saturday (sneezing, feverish, headachy), but not today. So, as it turns out, eight hours of 'how are you today?' 'is plastic all-right?' 'do you want that milk in a bag?' 'Thank you, have a great day!' '*HACKHACKCOUGHHACK*' isn't very good for one's throat.
In other words, I lost my voice.
Not sure I'll go in to work tomorrow, but I am skipping my eight and nine a.m. classes, 'cause.. yea, no fucking way. If I can't talk, I'll call in again. I did ask around to see if anyone could take a shift, but no.
fuck.

So, yea, school+work is kind of killing me. A usual schedule is something like 8:00AM-9:30PM on MWF, 12:00-5:00T, 9:00-5:00Th, and eight hours each Sat and Sun. Add in homework for six classes, and I'm not quiiiite sinking, but it's not easy swimming either. And I'm a good swimmer.

Also, it hasn't snowed yet, here. I haven't been keeping up on LJ, (clearly) -- has anyone (northern hemisphere, that is) posted pretty pictures of snow 'roundabouts their places? We're later than all but 7 first-snow dates since 1948, according to local records. It's kind of scary.

Any good stories from Halloween? come on, come on, I know you've got them.
I made a really really pretty Victorian corset for myself. It's beautiful, and sized mostly right. I'm a bigger size on top than bottom, though, and made it accordingly, so it looks more imbalanced than it should. My actual costume was "dead/beat up hiker"

I also smashed leaves and mud in my hair, and carried a trail map around in my coat pocket. :D

anything else I ought to know?

oh, and I'm going to Ireland (for sure, dude!) Dec 16-Jan9. WHOOOT!
