... in like a lion, out like a lamb.

On Tuesday, early and only just after dawn, the trees and the grass and the pavement were all powdered with a gentle crust of icy snow. The air seemed dry, as the water in it had turned to white dust powdering the ground. The world felt dead -- the sun gone, the water gone, no life left except the empty souls wandering.

On Tuesday, late after dawn but not near noon, the sun had unveiled itself from heavy dark grey clouds, and shown weakly and nakedly what the world longed to see. The white powdering of snow on ice was drawn, apart and away and melted alone. The green of spring came out to play again. The puddles on the pavement sprouted tendrils of low-lying mist from the heat of the sun above, and a chill wind playfully poked and prodded and swirled the mist around.

On Tuesday, early after noon, the buds of leaves on the sap-heavy twigs started to unfurl. They unfurled and loosened their edges, enthusiasm for the sun overwhelming the staid urges to stay. Daffodils seemed brighter lucky. Crocus first comes, blooming under blankets of snow-- daffodil comes second and heralds the acceleration of spring becoming. Soon the lilacs will blossom and fill the air, nearly suffocate passerby in their sweetness.

So, yes, Tuesday was an okay kind-of day. I wasn't as sick, so I went to class. I also went to a pottery painting shop and painted a mug for Joe-- it's hilariously cute, and not only because the colours reflect my slight deliriousity of the moment.
Wednesday-- also okay. not worth remembering, let alone mentioning.
Thursday *shrug* ( Although, I think Thursday (or maybe Wednesday) was the day I got my new phone :D).
Friday I spent pretty much literally from 10:30 - 5:00 frantically doing Chemistry calculations for my lab-- well, the lab and pre-lab that were due at the beginning of my period, and then the whole lab done during the four-hour-long period. I got maybe a 15 minute break for lunch. Actually, rather amusingly, I was eating a piece of chicken and felt something-not-chicken-textured-- carefully separated it from the chicken-textured-stuff, and found a wire. In my chicken. In my soup. From a restaurant. O.o
Saturday was good. Had a check-up, and my blood pressure is a bit high, but just bordering on pre-hypertension and mostly normal. *shrugs again*
Sunday = wondering where the hell Joe is, why he's not online, and why he's not answering the phone. O.o hmph.

Also, I have some pictures (of various stuff) and videos (of my little sister mocking a Cosmopolitan magazine: "*holding magazine up* You're sexually inadequate. You know you are. But we can make it better, because we're a magazine. *exaggerated wink*") on my camera that I want to share, but haven't gotten around to yet. :P
