Hello, livejournal friends that I haven't spoken to in what feels like forever. Here's an update on my life, which no one may ever read, but I feel like I should do.
I slaved through my senior year, saw Fall Out Boy on their Believers Never Die tour, applied to college, won the English department award, and graduated as an honor grad.
Let me back up, I rediscovered my love of all things stage and screen. I played the blue dolphin in a children's play adaptation of The Little Mermaid. After that play, I got the role of Snow White in another's children's play. I loved it so, so much.
I went to Georgia for my church's senior trip. We went to Six Flags, the coke factory, stone mountain, and to an Atlanta Braves game. My life is wonderful, honestly.
I am now attending Western Carolina University where I have just finished the first half of the first semester of my freshman year. I am majoring in English, with a minor in Theatre. I'm doing wonderfully grades wise. I, surprisingly, love my classes for the most part. I feel like I am finally on the right path, heading towards everything I've wanted.
Some personal stuff has been going on, but I'm in the mood to spill or wallow right now. I'm ready to be happy again.
To be honest, I feel as if I have been facing the world alone for a long time. I'm okay with that too. It seems that, at least for now, that it will stay that way. That's totally alright.
I have so many things to say that they're coming out jumbled and shorter than planned but that's okay. It's good to feel happy and okay.
I hope that everyone else is doing as well as I am. :)
