...Hm.
I've managed to find a chessboard, complete with all the pieces. I suppose its something to do while my arm is recuperating.
If anyone would like to play, simply come to inventory.

You're pretty good.

One thing Edgeworth observed was Lelouch's use of his King. It was peculiar, but well played...
He had to remember that it was a game, however. He seemed to lose his grasp on that at times.]
You're rather skilled yourself.

Lelouch made his move and exhaled inwardly. He had to remember not to try too hard, he had been incriminated sufficiently already.]
You're in the lead.

A lead can easily be overturned.
[He made his moves cautiously, calculating far ahead on his moves.]

Of course... The outcome of a game is unpredictable.

It's a simple game, and yet you can learn so much from its motions.

What have you learned, then?

Children could enjoy the game, and adults could use it as a battlefield. One that seemed to display a rather accurate view of one's personality, aspirations, and goals.
There was one more thing Edgeworth had to learn from this game. He moved his king, the last of his pieces on the board, with Lelouch having his king and his queen.]
That is rather clear, isn't it?
Reply
There was no possible way for Edgeworth to win anymore.]
Is it?

He slid his King towards Lelouch's. An offer to end this game which would continue to repeat similar moves until Edgeworth finally succumbed to Lelouch's advantage. Whether or not he would take the offering was a matter of pride on his part.]
It is.

[Edgeworth conceded. There was no point in playing any longer, after that final turn.]
Good game.
