(no subject)
Italy has been amazing so far. The people who are in my group are super nice and fun to hang out with. There are 60 of us total. Not too bad for just a summer session. I have made some great friends already. it's nice to know that you have a group of people who will go out of their way for you. My roommates Amy and Keralea and our friends Taylor and Megan came over and they made me dinner for my birthday. It was so sweet of them. I was sick over the past couple of days and they checked up on me and made sure everything was alrite. Keralea doesn't even know me that well but wrote a birthday note for me that brightened up my day. I couldn't feel luckier to have found friends like these.
I have been going through little boughts of homesickness.
I really missed my friends over the past couple of days.
I really miss my family. But 4 weeks are going to fly by. I've already been gone for 3.
Luke has called almost everyday since I've been here. It starts the day off right.
I am going broke sooo fast because I didnt realize that we had to buy a bunch of stuff when we got here as well as train tickets and hostels and souvenirs and whatever else. But damn, it's been worth it. My mom is going to cringe when I send her an email asking for money.
Speaking of souvenirs, Bridge and Lindz, what would you guys like?? I would really like to bring back something for you.
