Occasionally it frightens me when a past, "older" musician whom I love decides to come out with a new album. It could probably be classified as Bob Dylan syndrome, wherein I saw him live twice and now can barely listen to him without thinking of how horrible it was, thus causing me to undoubtedly miss out on some great music of my earlier days. However, this did not stop me, because Elvis Costello put out a new CD today.

And y'know what... it's good. Great, even. And I don't even mean that in a sympathetic way. It's just really great. It bends genres, it's emotional, and he's finally back to being angry. And that's just the way I want to hear him.

Now I'm even more excited to see him again in July. This time with his band, although I definitely adore his acoustic stuff as well.

Also, I have two weeks until I get to see Eddie Izzard. And I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow. And finally seeing Iron Man. Life is alright.
