Oh, how I wish I could relive this weekend for the most part. I could do without the fender-bender on the highway before the concert, but regardless. My car is ok. It looks kind of bad, but it's definitely driveable. I basically just don't have a front blinker now on the left side. No problems. It can be fixed.
Elvis Costello was absolutely amazing multiplied by a good 1,000,000. He walked out and literally had the crowd from the first chord. I wrote down his setlist on my arm so I could remember what exactly he played. It was just... my God. I've never seen someone so charismatic and commanding on stage as an individual. It was just beautiful. As for Dylan... we walked out during the fourth song. After Costello, there was no need to stay.
Also... we didn't meet him. Security was tight. We definitely tried, though.
Today the family and I celebrated my birthday. 'Twas nice. I like having new clothes and "Death Proof" on DVD and a new Police CD. I'm going to like even more when Maegan gets home and gives me Colbert's book. I'm super-excited for that.
