It’s been forever since I’ve last updated. My internet has been down, and my mom turned
Off the cells phones, so I’ve kind of been out of touch with a lot of people lately.

Well, not a lot has really been going on recently. My life kind of centers around
Photography and school. Oh, and I’ve been reading a lot, which is never a bad thing.
Expect my mom moved one of the t.v. Into my room, which was a horrible idea, because
Once you start watching just one of those lame evening sitcoms, you kind of can't stop.

So yeah, that is for sure getting moved out of my room soon. Recently though I’ve felt like there are a lot of things that I’ve been really wanting/needing to do, that i end up for
some reason not doing. Such as doing a lot more research on certain subjects like animal activism, environmental issues, the civil rights movement, and just every day life really. I just am not aware of what are the better resources to be using in order to gather this sort of information.

If I could, I’d spend every day at the central library thanks to the simplicity of public
Transportation. But i can't use my library card cause i have like a 120 dollar fine, which
is unbelievable.

I missed quite a few days this past week from school, which means a ton of make-up work.
Oh well, i don’t have much of a life anyways, so i might as well be doing something productive
like school work.

My uncle came down from Boston a few weeks ago. He's been suffering from HIV for nearly 8 years
now. He's my inspiration, my encourager, the reason i wake up everything morning, just so that
in the end i can live with knowing that something i did has made him proud. Sadly though, when he down here, he was in poorer condition than i and my family had thought. So that's been killing
me, to see someone that means so much to me in so much pain, and knowing that i can't do anything
about it. And i feel guilty, because my mom goes to the hospital nearly everyday, and it just pains
me to see him there, that i just don’t go. i should though, and i will.

Plus, I’ve been giving my mom such a hard time. As in, I could defiantly help her out around the house a lot more, than I am now. Just little simple things like that, or just keeping my mouth shut sometimes, instead of getting into those easily avoidable arguments about who knows what.

I really do need to get my priorities straight sometimes.

So the election is drawing nearer. It has my nerves racked because I’d hate for Bush to win again.
Listening to those past debates and just having to sit there, and listen to a man who spits out
all of these lies, and another thing that is so sickening is that he believes what he is saying
and doing is so right. Not that Kerry is all that better, he doesn't even abide by the philosophies of
what the democratic party is based on in the first place. Jeez, they're all crooks, this world is going
to hell, if there even is one.

Anyways, I feel like i'm complaining and bickering way too much. So on a lighter note, we took
a little trip to Corpus Christie for the Texas Jazz Festival. It was a lot of fun, but i absolutly
can not stand my mom's friend Terry who drove with us. She's just so...i dont even know how to
describe her, which kind of sounds bad since i dont really have any justification for my dislike of
her, but i'm sure if you met her, you'd feel the same way. But that's ok, that didn't ruin my little
trip at all. I spent the whole time reading the New York Times and listening to Mogwai. The Jazz was
really awesome though, because it wasn't just one type of jazz, it was all different sorts. At one
stage there would be latin jazz, while at another stage you'd see a group of guys in their late 50's
playing trombones and the guitar with this kind of new orleans feel to their music. i kind of stalked
the trombone player though, he was just so cool with his little hat and his trombone case and his cool
vest....coolest guy ever, i swear.

anyways, this is completely way too long. i miss everyone, truly i do. especially nathan and natalie
and ....everyone really. cause i seriously dont really talk to anyone except beth and misty, and haley
cause she gives me rides home on thursdays from glassel.

oh and another thing...i'm going to quite smoking ciggarettes i've only had three this week. i figure
why be apart of the number one killer in america. it's not very attractive, it gets expensive after
a while. and that feeling of addiction isn't all that fabulous either.
