I remember things that have not happened. Some great and secret show, that single note lingering into infinity. Went from the bender to the burn. Forgot the clarity, pushing that side of the envelope has. Not as pure as the New Years burn, but t'will serve, t'will serve indeed. Oh, I'm supposed to, but they never give them out. There is a whole department of people out there whose lives are dedicated to proving that you aren't the one who gave the company the resume of whoever it was.

Not yet. As you might expect, Mike has just now gotten back to his desk, and there is a long line of people waiting to talk to him.

I will let you know when/if I hear anything at all, good or bad, but you have to remember that things move kind of slowly here. In fact, when I got the call offering me my original job here, I had already given up on ever hearing from them!

I have no clue...I suck at doing those evals, and the fact that I nearly walked at the pay could not be good...

Hmm, I would not worry about that, honestly. Mike and Ryan know that the pay sucks a lot worse than it used to. It is hard for them because they would like to offer more, but it is not up to them.

Well, you said that, right? I mean, honestly, there is not one thing different about this job than is different from any other tech support job. :D At least, not task-wise. TPS reports are done by upper people.

Oh I know...They kept asking me what you'd told me about it...I'm like "it's a helpdesk" that's about all I need to know.

"Well, I know from what she's told me that if they offer me a blue badge (direct employee) I should refuse it unless it also gets me out of the helpdesk..."

Heh, I kinda like helpdesk work though...long as the pay and the hours don't suck...
