The School Dance
Bring out the red carpet, play the trumpets and scream in happiness, it's the school dance!
I know that on the internet, tone in non-existent so in case anyone missed the sarcasm in that first sentence the least I can do is point that out. School Dances in my opinion are excuses for retard like girls to talk about hair, make up, dresses and boys. If it isn't one, it's the other and if not that, it's all at once. It disgusts me. This morning, when an announcement came over the loud speaker announcing the School Dance, every girl in the corridor went crazy. There was a constant shriek of high pitched screaming that only some girls can do. I actually had to cover my ears to stop myself from going deaf.
Every single eye that belongs to a girl ( accept mine) met with every single boys' eye. It was as if they were silently asking each other to the dance. The announcement was over and the bell rang and all anyone could talk about was the dance while there I was, wondering what we were going to learn in math today. Of course, being the social outcast that I am, I am pretty much looked down on by the other girls. You should see them run when I sit at their table at lunch; some of them could probably make the track team ^_^
I'm not fat or gross or anything like that. I'm a normal teenager and while I am a nerd and openly admit it, that does not mean that I walk around with my shirt tucked in and a face full of pimples. I'm just like everyone else but its my total dislike for anything "girl" that makes me different to everyone else. Anyway, back to the School Dance.
The teachers couldn't really control any of the kids in lessons and about three boys got sent to the main office and I found it frustrating. I'd actually like to write more about this subject but I need to do my homework.
