When: Monday, 7:45 PM
Where: TV Station
Rating: PG
Description: Spock is finishing up a broadcast and staying late at the station
He was out of the studio within minutes of finishing the broadcast, brows set together in thought. Spock was well aware that his delivery of the news was both unconventional and slightly controversial, but he found himself unable to lie about the events. The red scare was merely a ploy used by Senator Khanarthy to control the votes of the masses, but it wasn't so easy to explain that in a news broadcast. Spock chose to instead deliver the news without bias and without the common opinion.
Strolling out of the studio and making ways to his office, the Russian Jew organized some of his papers. Though not the largest broadcasting station in America, people had still found the time to write angry and even threatening letters to the station. To him. About him. Directed at him. Which if Spock had a easier sense of humor, he would be amused. But instead, he found the actions of the people to be merely illogical and wasteful of paper and pen. This, however, amused his coworkers and therefore had some merit.
If he was attacked in the street, as some of the letters suggested, so be it. His broadcasts and statements would still be firm in standing. He sat down at his desk, aware he was indeed allowed to leave and had no real work to catch up on. But Spock found the TV station was the easiest place to think, and to work. He would occasionally work late into the night, early into the morning. Even fall asleep at his desk.
In the slightest motion of a sigh, he ruffled through his desk to find a recent newspaper.
