If the network is any indication, it appears that the fine art of discretion has been lost to the ages. I probably would have ignored the cad, if not for the heated debate he caused, but as it stands it reminds me how much I despise those devices. In a perfect world, they would have been nothing more than a marvelous new way to communicate, when the mail is both impossible and impractical. However, instead of uniting people across the continent, all it's done is cause people to abandon good sense, good manners, and good taste. While I myself may not always be a perfect gentleman, at least I have the decency to keep my affairs private. Hopefully the fool's companion is just as loose and idiotic as he is - it would be a shame if he managed to hoodwink an honest woman.
Still, I suppose some good has come out of this. If nothing else, it's been a distraction from weightier issues. I shall write on those later, after I get my thoughts in order.
I do wish von Karma would step away from his machine, though. The public shaming is one thing, but the argument with the teenage girl is rather ridiculous for a man of his station.
