well, i havent really been able to write in my journal in awhile since my life was just a big freakin rollercoaster that was about to crash. but i guess now things are under control for now. im in a new apt with my bf and the rent is free(thank GOD!) we've been on and off on the good times but i guess thats how it is in every relationship. though

1. dont update the firmware on the PSP and if itsn't 2.7+ downgrate to 1.5

2. Tekken for PSP comes out this Wed. if your still into Tekken

1. why should i downgrade it to 1.5? its at 2.6 right now and my bf's is 2.7. he wants to know why to downgrade it.

2. yea i know about tekken coming out on wed. and YES! i am excited! lol i cant wait, but i might have to wait to get paid again to get it which is gonna blow....

if you have 1.5 firmware, you can run homebrew, emulators (NES, SNES, Genesis etc.) and "backed up" games. check out www.psp-hacks.com and www.psphacks.com boards for more info.

I'm doing ok, I actually have 2 PSPs at the moment, one with 2.71 and one with 1.5 which had 2.6 before. I'm going to return my 2.71 PSP and get my money back so its basically a swap I'm doing. beyond that i still just have the PS2.

so what do you think about the new systems coming out? my bf wants to get the PS3 and the nintendo wii....i think they would be cool i guess...lol hopefully there will be some cool games that come out for the system...and what do you think about the nintendo DS? im not too fond of it...idk....anyway, ttyl!

Based on games, I think I'll get a PS3, but I probably wont own for awhile since it be like $700 or something like that. The Wii is going to give out of shape people heart attacks and it doesnt really appeal to me. The DS i think is garbage, but there are "better" games on it than the PSP. The PSP just has a ton of remade games and it needs more big hit games like Tekken (scored a 9.2 on most game sites). i'll post up some pics of what a 1.5 psp can do when I get my 2gb memory stick.

yeah, idk..my bf is very excited about the wii...idk....lol what psp games do you own? i have need for speed rival, tokobots, sodoku, some other puzzle game, and im gettin tekken too..lol and lumines too...

idk..ps3 seems like there might be alot wrong w/ it...idk...we'll see....cant wait to see the pics...

check my lj for pics. it shows the PSP running SNES emulator and Tekken DR (JPN vers) running off memory stick. Its also emulating 2.71 firmware which means i get all the stuff that comes with 2.71 firmware, but im still on 1.5.

I don't own a lot of PSP games, I have Tekken (kinda, but I will), Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, Initial D (JPN game and yes i bought it)and Lumines (it came with the PSP). There are some more games I want for the PSP, but really havent it used it much to really want to buy more. The ones I have now work for now...I'm sure when school starts again it'll be a different story.

ok, i'll check your lj...my bf says youre lucky you got lumines w/ the psp...lol cause he had to buy it separately....anyway, cant wait til tekken comes out tomorrow. me and my bf reserved a copy for each of us at Gamestop and we got this free key chain and little controller thing to put on the psp to do combos better...idk..lol anyway, let me know if you dont want a psp game, or something..lol anyway, ttyl
