Can ice/snow/water etc powers work long enough to clear a temporary path to escape? eta: and by that I mean--obviously no one's really escaping XD But temporarily beating back the flames and discovering OH HEY, THEY JUST COME RIGHT BACK, as opposed to having the fire completely not react.

SECOND QUESTION: These fire suits. If a character is destined to survive, do they appear on the character as soon as the fire starts? What if we want to write more suspenseful logs where it's an iffy thing?

1. Yes, we'll allow that as it'll be more interesting.

2. Yes, as soon as the fire starts, the character is in the suit in the blink of an eye. While this may be anti-climatic, there are other ways to make the scenario more dramatic.

# What happens to my characters' pets? the farm/aquarium creatures? Bernard?
All giant Edensphere wildlife will perish unless they've been tamed or made into pets. Characters' pets will miraculously be saved, which means they are placed in pet versions of that delightful golden space suit. The farm/aquarium creatures (including Bernard) will be mysteriously unaffected by the incident and, in the aftermath, will be found perfectly unharmed in their appropriate homes.

Wrong journal, but-

Do characters have to wear the suits to survive?

The suits will absolutely appear on any characters who will be surviving.

RE using powers against the flames- what about Spike's shields? In canon they've been shown to be able to repel explosions, so would it be sufficient to hold back the fire or not?

(That might be a nice way for him to die, actually- he tries to use his powers except LOLZ NO SILLY)

Like Jaina's question, it might work out for a temporary period of time only to wind up failing as the flames prevail.

I presume I'd have to arrange with other players if I wanted to have Victory get burned up defending people?

Also, as far as the plotting post is concerned - given that I didn't have a chance to log her finding the Dactyl egg you guys said I could find and I don't want to backlog horribly - will it still be possible for her to find it after the rearrangement of things?

I may go on a catch-up-with-old-logs hiatus whilst I wait for her revival...

Yes, it will be possible for her to find it afterward. XD

XDD THanks, that's good to know. I was a little worried about the fact that I still hadn't got that log up. Blame my essays!
