Five hundred push-ups... and five hundred push-ins. Gai tried to forget that conversation often and as a result he remembered way too much. Sometimes he wondered by people liked teasing him so much, but then again he would have to admit that he had fun when he had chances to tease. It was probably a friendship thing.
"...Specific? Have you worked out before?" How could someone not know about stretching? But then Gai was shaking his head. He was here to instruct. "Do not mind that question. Yes. The muscles we are going to work must be warmed up, because that way there is much less risk of straining or spraining anything. First we can work on our arms!" Gai crossed one arm in front of him, holding it in place with his other arm. "This one you can feel in your shoulders and upper arm. And then there is a second arm one for after that, rotating your arms in the shoulder cuffs! You just swing them forward five times, back five times, forward five times, and back five times." Quickly he ran through that.
He tilted his head at Huo. "How flexible are you? These are basic stretches, but we can go more advanced if they are not having any impact."
