Characters: Krile (feathered_earth) and Lyle (live_ringer) Date/Time: September 15th, afternoon Location: Movie Theater Rating: G - PG? Summary: Today's matinee double feature is horror and family drama.
Krile resisted the urge to roll her eyes when he started laughing and just listened to his explanation. It sounded rather silly--she'd never seen anything like this in Edensphere and she doubted that she had at home either. On the other hand, Bal had been dwarfed even by an amusement park. Places with commercials probably had too many people for businesses to rely on either word-of-mouth or just being that town's particular blacksmith.
"I don't think this is one of the effective ones." She still didn't get the polar bear.
When the animation changed to the rolling numbers, Krile watched in fascination until she caught Lyle's gesture out of the corner of her eye and hurried after him. The chairs proved to be another small mystery, but after another couple second of trial-and-error she carefully sat down. She, too, wondered what the screen was about to show...
...but when it opened onto a familiar sight, she clapped her hand over her mouth. Oh no, oh please no. Was this going to be a memory like that first one, the one with Grandpa and Exdeath...? She didn't want to make Lyle see anything like that. Nothing could be worse than that, but as optimistic as her nature was, Krile was sure it could still be awful.
