Shades of gray are all that I find

The road that led from the access bridge to Medical was completely transformed into a scene straight out of a World War II film. Barbed wire, spent ammunition and trenches dotted the landscape and occasionally movie studio style explosions shot off in the distance. Where once the road led directly up to the front of Medical, it now divided into two paths. The path that led directly up to the main door of Medical was decorated scraps of rainbow fabric attached to sticks, while the second path had scraps of gray flapping merrily in the wind. This gray path took visitors to the back entrance of Medical and that was where Genius was currently working in a makeshift lab that was really just a tiny closet.
The force segregation between the Medical staff had put Genius in a foul mood--he was unable to get over the fact that Team Rainbow got the front end of the building, his lab and his assistant/minion Goggles. That was just unfair! Everyone cool seemed to be a Rainbow--the gray side was…well. Gray. Plus the army medic uniform he was wearing was hot and itchy, he had a helmet emblazoned with a giant red cross that kept reappearing on his head no matter how many times he threw it off, and he kept tripping over his own army boots. Why did they have to play soldiers in the dead heat of August?!
Utterly frustrated with his lot in life, Genius stomped/tripped his way outside to the edge of Gray territory and leaned up against the door frame, unintentionally blocking the way in.
