The world around them was left half the Fade, half a warm and sunny beach when the six figures surrounding Night twitched and clawed at themselves, tearing off their skin. Juhani, Krile and Spring burst into Rage Demons, their forms comprised of magma and flame. Brianna and Kagerou were awash with shadow and became Demons of Sloth, dark hooded beings that peered with a single glowing eye. Materia laughed as her flesh melted from her, and in her place stood a Desire Demon, all femininity and an eerie allure.
Night, seeing no such horrors, gave a battle cry and charged the two as the flame and shadow demons lurched forward. Desire stood back, beginning to weave a spell, the energy cracking around her hands as the power grew.
Night whipped his blade in an arc as dark energy lapped at it like a filthy smoke, the movement sending a shockwave in the direction of that smug armored demon from his memories...
...in the direction of Gai. The demons moved with intent to surround the Watchmen before they would begin their assault.
