Iris had been debating the merits of striking out in a random direction or just scribbling Help, help I am lost in the jungle! Rescue will be met with extreme appreciation and quite possibly hugs!! when... A dinosaur wandered into the clearing with him. He wasn't really a wilderness type, he hadn't heard the creature coming at all, which was strange considering ti was pretty much as big as Iris was, but then, distressed thoughts of I'm lost in the wilderness! had been somewhat preoccupying the tailor.

For a panicked moment Iris wasn't able to do or think anything. Dinosaur pretty much summed up his thought process. A sort of high-pitched squeak escaped the silver-haired man as the dinosaur approached--but then it Rrrrrr-ed at him and something in the noise was... Familiar. Sort of. Almost like words if he didn't concentrate too much on it.

And the snake earlier had been somewhat amiable--well at least not really hostile. And now that Iris was actually looking the large lizard actually seemed... Friendly. Like it was saying hi.

"Yes." Iris's mouth agreed while his brain was still attempting to function. He took a step closer to the dinosaur, head tilting tot he side in more curiosity as the fear faded somewhat.

"Do you happen to know the way back out, by any chance?"

When Iris took a step closer the dinosaur raised its head, the prominent ridge of its brow sinking considerably as it took a step backwards and regarded him with something like suspicion. It seemed slightly taken aback that Iris was actually talking to it in an attempt to have a proper conversation. Whether or not this was a good or bad thing in the end, was impossible to tell, because it seemed -- if such a thing was possible -- that the dinosaur had yet to decide what it felt on the matter.

One of the thin arms that hung out in front of the creature raised slowly, its claws curled inwards as it scratched itself fitfully along its own snout. It bent its head to one side as it did this, as it trying get to a hard-to-reach spot before ultimately relenting and dropping its head low again, rubbing it sideways along the ground in an attempt at a different approach.

"RRRR," the dinosaur growled in sudden irritation, and batted its now-dirty snout back and forth through the air before finally turning towards Iris. "Rrrr?" The animal seemed to ask a question and snorted once, its large red eye blinking.
