The clone - yesterday he'd finally told people to call him You, but it wasn't his name. Only his Master could really name him - left the house, heading down the ramp. It hadn't been too hard, escaping.
Master. He clasped his hands together until they were white-knuckled, trying to focus on the sensation and not the surge of fear and doubt that shot through him. Had he been abandoned? He'd done nothing wrong!
...and yet, everyone preferred the rebellious one. He knew what 'Ben' meant, now; not the counterpart to Master, but someone who looked like him. Maybe his template... maybe that same rebellious one who had left his Master (how was that possible?) and who his Master still wanted.
The clone put his hood up and started to walk. He might come back. The droids did feed him and give him a place to stay. But he couldn't stay there all the time anymore.
