Summary: Lily and Spring decide to go exploring! ... Only to find their place to explore is a colorless void.

Spring was in a good mood for two reasons today. One was that he had woken up, after about a week of having to tiptoe through his own house and run at even the slightest sight of flares, to find the swamp dragons had permanently vacated their home. He was able to eat breakfast at the table and even accompany his father on their early morning run again. It felt like a great weight had left him. As much as he liked pets, the dragons had been a source of tension in their house. He wouldn't miss them nearly as much as he would any of the dogs if they happened to disappear into the night.
The second reason for his good mood was that he had found himself an exploration partner for the Wilderness recently. Lily was new to the Sphere and she, much like Spring himself, didn't seem to enjoy remaining idle. In Spring's mind this made for a good chance to not only get to know another person but also to examine the special areas the Wilderness offered. He hadn't really taken the time to visit the Wilderness since his father had shown him their home because Lezard had warned him against exploring alone. But today he would not be alone so he was going to make an adventure out of it!
Having reached the elevator where he had proposed for them both to meet, Spring continued to jog in place, working to keep his excitement down to a manageable level. He realized he could come off as a bit forward (especially after that awkward meeting with Seven yesterday) and didn't want to leave Lily with a bad impression on their first face-to-face meeting. At least today the sun was shining. He was sure that was a favorable sign.
