Summary: Something scaley this way comes, and someone is there to greet him.
It was that time again, coming in to a lengthy shift with plenty of tea at hand set up for any that happened to be born today. The table was set, the tea was piping hot, and Lezard whistled a little ditty while he stacked the beginner's items next to the silver tea set: Journal, towels, money, clothing, and map. His work shifts had become quicker by the day when he added tea to his regimen and let his mind wander, grinning like a madman to his co-workers and the Guards as he entered and finding great pleasure when they seemed to squirm at the sight.
I think I'm having entirely too much fun, he thought to himself, pulling out his chair and having a seat upon it. When he remembered there wasn't a guest at the table just yet he lounged, kicking back and being a little ungentlemanly when there weren't eyes upon him. Pulling forth a small notepad and a pen from a coat pocket, he began to write a little note or two to himself in a very scratchy shorthand. The process only took a few minutes, and he felt he'd done his part to be, you know, social for the time being.
Time to get to work.
