The memory was still fresh in his mind: The screams, the magic, the despair ... and the sheer joy he felt deep inside upon viewing his power. Lucy's anger did not bother him in the least, and he knew exactly what he had to do if she OR Nova were to breathe a word to ears that did not need to hear details unless he bid it necessary.
So strange, how enlightening that was, he thought to himself as he set up his teapot and two cups alongside cream and sugar. This routine of his seemed to help ease newborns a lot better than just sitting aside and waiting for them to pelt him with questions with the usual stress. What was wrong with a little hot tea to calm the nerves while he sat back and answered questions with ease?
Among the many cocoons he waited, again waiting for those telltale sounds of birth that he'd grown so accustomed to. He idly wondered what sort of being would emerge this time around, and hoped they would be as civil as that Holly girl, who was immensely pleasant to talk and have tea with.
...I should probably invite her for tea sometime, he then thought, nodding to himself.
