Summary: Longtime friends spend some time together and share pieces of the past
Another end to a long day. Well, not quite-there were still a few hours left before Kazahana would curl up in bed for the night. But she was still more than ready for her shift at Wellspring to end. Maybe it was purely psychological, but she'd felt tired ever since their encounter with Toushi's frightening evil twin.
As she slipped her coat on near the door, she noticed that Simon seemed to be taking his leave as well. It had been a while since they'd had a chance to really talk, and that was mostly her fault. After Koi's disappearance, she hadn't wanted to. It had hurt too much.
The pain was still there, but softer now. Even if it never went away, it was bearable. So she took her time and waited around for her co-worker and friend to finish up and draw nearer to the exit and her.
