Sailormoon often puttered around the Bazaar after work, looking at many of the shops and avoiding getting trampled. Her hands were finally not pink from the paint, but so were the walls, now bare and flower-less. She figured she'd buy some new paints and repaint the wall again.

She spotted Gai. He was pretty hard to miss, even with all the people puttering about around her. "Gai-papa!"

Gai beamed as he heard the familiar voice calling his name. Turning, he spotted her bright pink hair. "Sailormoon!" Already he could feel the now-familiar draw of mistletoe, but even without it he'd get closer to her. Cheerfully Gai scooped her up, giving her a hug. It would dispell the mistletoe, but if she was cozy there was no reason to put her back down yet.

"What are you doing? Would you like a hand?"

She hugged him tightly, snugging into him. "I was window shopping. Would you like to come with me?"

Smiling, he nodded. "I would! What shops in particular were you looking at? We can hit them all!" Gai shifted her so he could hold her with ease for a while, just in case there were lots of shops to hit. He didn't have any other plans for the day; this might as well be enjoyed.

"Nothing in particular," Sailormoon replied. "I was looking at whatever caught my attention. Let's hit them all!"

"Then all we shall see!" Cheerfully he ducked into the first shop, which happened to be a candlemaker's place. "These look interesting! I have never bought candles here."

Sailormoon poked around excitedly, looking at all the different colors and types of candles. "I haven't either!" She hadn't actually bought any candles here in the first place.

He hadn't either, but sometimes they were lovely. Maybe he would pick up a few for his friends or something. Idly he wondered if Bell liked candles, but dismissed that thought rather quickly; they would likely be considered sappy.

"Would you like one? We could pick out one that smells pretty!"

She clasped her hands together excitedly. "I'd really like that!" she beamed. "I bet Krile-neechan would like that too!" What would she like though? Really Sailormoon only knew of a few things of her world: her age, her name, and a battle in the sky against an evil.

"Hm. How about something that smells like flowers?"

"Then we shall find one for Krile too! Flower scents..." Gai's voice trailed off as he looked around the store. Maybe they should have brought Bell; he had a very keen sense of smell. But it was just the two of them, and the candles were at least labled.

"Peony. That is a flower. And rose, and lavender... Is chamomile a flower?" He didn't know all the flower types. Hopefully she would.

"That's a great idea!"

Sailormoon sniffed around excitedly. "I'm not sure," she replied, completely unsure of what a chamomile was. In her sniffing ventures, she sniffed something familiar. "Cherry blossoms!" She wasn't sure why, but the scent was familiar and happy. "Smell this! It's so sweet," she offered the candle to Gai.

Gai reached down and picked it up, sniffing. "It is! Do you like that one?" He handed that back while reaching for cotton. That was a plant too, right? But it smelled rather boring. Stepping over to the green candles, Gai scanned for anything Sailormoon or Krile might like. But none of them sounded floral.

"What other things do you and she like?" For the first time in a shop, Gai felt a little lost. He didn't know what was good and what wasn't. But Sailormoon seemed self-assured, and Gai would trust her judgement on things.

"I like it!" Sailormoon nodded. "It reminds me of something." She just wasn't sure.

Hm. What other things that smelled good they both liked... They both loved flowers and kitties (though the latter isn't always good-smelling. "Chocolate!"

Chocolate. Looking around, Gai didn't see chocolate. "I see sugar cookie, but no chocolate. Orange? Pear? Honeydew? Does she like any of these?"

"Okay!" Sailormoon was excited. Shopping with Gai was fun!

"Sugar cookie sounds good!" she replied. "We've made cookies a few times."

"Then sugar cookie it shall be! Let us get these and then continue looking on! What store next?" Candles were inexpensive enough that he could stand to buy them for the two girls. Soon they were bought and he was ready to follow her lead.
