After she'd gotten tired of making her way around camp on paw, Elsa went back to her cabin, Changed, dressed, and set out again on foot. The Wilderness was bigger than she'd thought; she still hadn't explored it all.

She smiled when Youth came into sight. "I didn't expect to see you here," she said, leaning back to look at the course. "Is this for some kind of training?"

Youth looked up from the current progress of one of the newer Watchmen to see Elsa standing there. He beamed at her. "I have had a lot of time to think about how to improve the obstacles. And it is! I believe very much in training and staying fit!"

Youth glanced at the course. "It is open for everyone if anyone is interested in trying it out. The first half is the easier half. And it serves as a way for me to know how much my students are progressing!"

"Improve?" That could be good or bad. Knowing Youth, it was a little of both, depending on your perspective.

She walked closer, trying to work out what changes he'd made. "Have any of them given it a go so far?"

"Indeed! It was very easy before. I think that one of Bell's dogs could have run it blindfolded. But now it is actually an obstacle course!" His smile was completely confident. This had been a good idea, he figured. If someone had wanted to run it when it was easy, too, they'd been down there.

Youth nodded. "Night has gone through it! He is one of my most enthusiastic students!"

Elsa hid a deeper smile. One of Bell's dogs, eh? Then she could have certainly run it herself in her other form, although maybe not now. "Smart thinking. It's nice to see something with a bit of a challenge. How did Night do?"

"Thank you!" He was a little surprised. Not often did he get a compliment like that. "I agree. And it gets someone a good warm-up before they go and work on repairing what can be repaired!"

Glancing over at the course, he mentally went over how Night had done. "Very well! I am never disappointed in Night! Would you like to try it out?"

Elsa nodded. "That better be soon. Not even magical weather should last much longer-I don't think anyone wants a permanent home down here."

Hmm..."Possibly. Maybe you could show me an example first? Or is the surprise part of the training?"

"It has already started. But I think it is important for people to be careful and not rush up." That got a bit of a self-aware grin. If anyone was guilty of rushing in, it was Youth. Patience was not his middle name. "There is a great deal of debris, and I think it very easy for someone who is not stretched or warmed up to get hurt. It is like any strenuous activity, but it does not seem like one, because they want to move back."

Youth nodded. "The first half is not about anticipating or surprises. It is about making it through and dealing with challenges. The second half is anticipation and thinking. I do not mind demoing the first portion!"

"If everyone goes up at once, they'll just have to come right back down." Elsa rolled her eyes. "But people aren't all that patient, as a rule."

She chuckled at Youth's obvious enthusiasm. It was sort of daft, but in an endearing way. "I'd love to see it, then."

"And there will be crowded elevators, and people will be more upset by that too. It is good to give excuses for people to not go yet. If they do not realize that is going on, then they will be more likely to try out something else." Youth shrugged. Some things were simple.

"Splendid!" There were a couple of parts to the first portion. A climbing wall, which now had un-knotted ropes, a balance beam that now shifted with weight and had ropes to duck under, and a moving rope ladder up to the monkey bars for the basics. They were rather simple for him, but the course was set to be doable for all of his students, and as that included Promise and Genius, it made sense that some of it was easier.
