Summary: Koi spends another day at the tea shop, meeting old and new friends.

The tea shop in the Bazaar Ltd. doesn't really have a name, but when speaking of the 'tea shop' everyone still knew it. Located in an actual building and squished in between rows and rows of market stalls, it is a small oasis of peace among the busy streets. The manager is a pleasant old English man who enjoys discussing tea blends and the superiority of Earl Gray versus any other kind, and the employees are all very different people.
The interior of the tea shop is an amusing mix of cultural influences, and there are seating for both Eastern and Western guests. The shop sells a lot of different tea kinds, such as black, green, red, white and oolong, and it is usually served per pot or per cup. In addition to this, the tea shop also serves a lot of small snacks to go with tea, like cookies, cake and sweets from all over the world. (If you buy a whole pot of tea, you'll get a basket of cookies for free!)
The tea shop also sells a lot of tea for home use, as well as cups, pots and different tea utensils. The walls are decorated with shelves of different funny or pretty pots and an especially eye-drawing shelf where younger customers usually flocked contained a very, very tiny collection of cups and pots that looked like they could fit dolls or fairies. In the back of the shop was a small break room (pretty much only a couch) and a storage. The wall inside the break room was usually occupied by a fist-sized black butterfly and there was a very sad-looking bonsai tree on a table.
The senior employee in the tea shop could be found there from morning to late afternoon every day, and almost always with a smile on his lips. Koi really loved working at the tea shop and found it to be more of a mediative experience rather than a job. He loved the place, he loved the customers and he loved the fact that the manager gave him free hands with all Eastern influences. It had not taken him long to convince the gentleman about the offer to give newborns a free cup of tea, and now it was written on the large chalk board right behind the counter.
Today, Koi was calmly wiping off the counter and listening to the tea simmer behind him while he waited for the lunch rush.
