He hadn't meant to convict or judge like the rest of them, but when it came to those particular set of humans, he had nothing but distrust or disgust for the Watch. The Guard wasn't so bad. He could handle a few of them, and Youth upon the Watch wasn't was at least worth paying attention to.

He had admired Stoneface, until Juliet had been cast off like a monster. His head snapped down, masking away that narrowed look of hate on his face and nodded lightly. "It is here." His finger lightly tapped down onto the map in its general location. "It's not far from here and I can show you after if you like."

Speaking of which, he was back near the chair, picking out a tiny bag and started to add in the amount of coin. Walking back over, he reached into his own pocket and added a few of his own. Money was hardly anything useful or needed to him.

"You'll need this to buy food and other necessities when you must. Try not to spend it too soon until you are able to obtain a job, Mister Fugue." Now his finger slide over towards the elevator in the central part.

"There are two more places worth mentioning. The wilderness, and the fourth floor."

Yeah okay, Black looked pretty scary for a minute there, causing Fugue to recoil a little. What on earth did he do? Did he say something wrong? His attention snapped back to the map, and he was grateful that he hadn't made some sort of hatchling faux pas. "I think I can find that, but thank you."

Just be calm around the creepy guy, Fugue thought to himself, and accepted the coinage in the pouch. He'd definitely treat himself well tonight, but the more he blew his cash, the more he needed a job. Damn.

The mention of the Wilderness had his full attention. The term 'wilderness' might explain it, but boy what did he know. The whole 'Fourth Floor' thing didn't seem to register at all.

"The Wilderness... is it dangerous?"

If Black had wanted to, he could take out Fugue now. Silently and quickly. There were plenty of animals that would eat the remains in the barren cold that was his self claimed domain. Out in the snow things were easily lost. Though he supposed he would have to taper him to the ceiling for a while, then come back later while and dig out through the top. There were the Guards to worry about.

But that dribbling sense washed away. As a Guide, he had a duty to do and that was to protect. His fingers lifted idly to his own forehead and rubbed. Such plaguing monsterous thoughts lately.

"It can be relaxing, and it can be dangerous. There was someone that figured it changes at least twice around mid month, sometimes into three different places. The place can range from an all you can eat buffet to a god forsaken war zone. Tread carefully, and those that enter alone usually get lost."

Hmm, so avoid the Watch and Guard, get a job, and make some friends to keep from getting lost. This was beginning to become a tall order and fast. Who knows, there might be some nice people around here. Maybe a cute girl or two.

His hand went to wipe more goop off his face. "Thank you. You've been helpful. I think I know what I need to do now."

As informative as Black is- he knew quite a bit now- Fugue just wanted to get the hell away from him. Standing around for too much longer in his presence was jingling warning bells in his mind, and his gut agreed... though the meat buns were nice. Exit, stage right! Or was it left?

"I want to wash this stuff off. It's starting to itch." He hadn't intended to whine a bit, but the itching was only going to drive him crazy.

Had Black knew what Fugue was thinking, he might've laughed. After all, he was the one that had hired him. He smirks a little at the fact he recognizes him a litlte. Maybe it's the lack of things, or the way he was acting, but he'd keep it to himself for now.

"Good, but do not try to reach the fourth floor. If it wants you there, it will take you there. Some experience memories. Sometimes alone, sometimes with others. You will remember, but be warned, sometimes too much information can be deadly. Nothing is private in this place."

He bowed a little and gestured towards the door, "Yes of course. The wash should be near the temporary housing." He slips towards the door and opens it, pointing off in a direction, then lead him out, alerting the Guard as he passed and once into the temporary housing which had not been far, he bowed again, "I am your guide in this world, but still, Do be careful."

Strangely, the Fourth Floor stuff didn't even register. He kept munching on just one more meat bun, looking at the map as if he'd heard nothing at all. Fugue's attention lifted once more when Black opened the door and showed him out, following rather timidly. He was lost in thought as they were led to temporary housing.

Two faces had suddenly flashed into his mind when they approached his assigned room. One was a man with short blond hair looking awfully grumpy, and the other was a woman with long hair, accompanied by the snarling of a wolf. Fugue scratched his head, wondering why he'd recall such a thing, but he made a note to try not to forget... maybe he knew these two once. Were they here? He would try to find them, maybe.

Fugue looked up one last time when Black paused and bowed, and he nodded. "Thanks again, Black. I'll be careful, maybe find you if I have questions."

And yet he beat a hasty exit into that room, wanting to get away from this unsettling man and get this sticky junk out of his hair.
