M-m-mechanical meltdown

Summary: Stellaris finds out what she's made of, Toushi gets to carry a girl, and Lezard finds something interesting.

The newest Wilderness sounded intriguing, based on the Adventurers' description of it: moving stairways, talking paintings, owls with messages and an emergency request for a mechanic? She would have volunteered if someone else had not come first. Based on some of her acquaintances, she knew some people were not familiar with technology and called it 'enchantments', so she half-expected those descriptions to mean escalators, video screens and comm devices with text messaging capabilities.
But the moment she stepped out of the elevator, she experienced what could only be termed as 'magic'. A loud pop! and her clothes turned into a set of blue-lined thick black robes over white buttoned shirt, a skirt and blue-grey tie, as a quiet voice from unknown origins sang a tune near her ears, 'Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw, if you've a ready mind'. Her surprise had not yet worn out when something else happened. Almost as sudden as the costume switch, her vision blurred and breathing became exceedingly difficult. A thought could still flash across her mind: reach for journal, ask for help. But she couldn't feel her fingers anymore.
An unconscious body fell on the grounds of the castle. Her heart was still beating, but for how much longer, if her breathing had stopped?
