Another shift and another quiet day in the hall of beginnings. Reed had thus far been spared from juggling the most recent waves of newcomers, and it seemed the rush was coming to its end. Like with most of his other idle shifts, he busied himself with the odd scribble or note on the fabric swatches pinned to the inner cover of his journal, only giving an occasional glance to the sea of cocoons spread out across the room.
