Summary: Unbeknownst to him, Stoneface visited Elsa's childhood home on the fourth floor, but because of the content, has a hunch that Elsa ought to know.
There was the possibility that he was being speciesist. Oh sure, Elsa was a werewolf, but that didn't necessarily mean that the werewolves' manor he had seen was related to her. There had to be hundreds of werewolf families and even with memories she couldn't possibly have known them all and not all werewolves ate humans. Probably. Well, at least one didn't.
Nevertheless, the Sphere showed him that particular snowy place for a reason and he had a hunch. He'd learned over the years that if a copper had a hunch, it was a hunch best followed, so that was what he was doing. Not that this was something that he particularly enjoyed, but every bit that they could learn about their home, the better.
He knew that they weren't speaking directly of the Sphere's tricks and secrets, but it wasn't worth the risk, which was why he had instructed Elsa to meet him down here right after he had finished his morning shift. Gingerly, Stoneface settled on an unobtrusive looking pile of junk, graciously ignoring the pointy bits that persisted in paining his behind and nibbled on the half of a sandwich he had brought with him.
