Enchanted by the wares on display at the stall, Orihime had yet to notice that she'd lost Kagerou, or that somebody else was behind her. When the hand came down on her head, she let out a small yelp of surprise and whirled around to find herself face-to-shoulder with just about the last person she'd expected to treat her so casually.

"Ku-" She cut herself off quickly, remembering where she was and what Kagerou had told her. Staring up at him, it took her a moment to remember what it was he was called in this place, not to mention how strange it was for him to come up like that... Like a big brother would, almost.

"Ah, Toushi-kun, I mean! I'm not really sure what I'm working on right now, since I just got here with Kagerou..." Who... didn't seem to be around anymore.

Toushi blinked in surprise at the strange way that Kagerou reacted to his appearance. He certainly hadn't expected her to yelp like that, nor had he expected her to stare at him. It was weird.

He was about to ask her what the heck had gotten into her, calling him Toushi-kun like that, when she mentioned that Kagerou wasn't with her. He frowned.

"Wait, what? Whaddya mean you just go here with Kagerou, you're Kage-" He looked at her carefully, and at the way that she was looking at him, and realised. "You're not her?"

His brows knit together in a scowl. What the hell was this? Of course it was Kagerou, he knew her reiatsu as well as he knew Kazahana's and Bastet's and Kiba's and Koi's, how could this not be her? Unless...

"Who are you?"

"I'm, uhm..."

Of course she wouldn't be able to tell Kurosaki-kun/Toushi-kun her real name without hurting him. For consistency's sake, she decided on the fake name she'd used with Kagerou. "You can call me Kyouko. I know this sounds really crazy, but I'm the exact same person as Kagerou, only I'm living in Adstring, which is right below this place now for some reason! She brought me up here to meet somebody called Bastet-san, and I just stopped to look at these really quickly, and now she's gone..."

Toushi frowned at her, wondering why she was so flustered. When she called herself Kyouko, he knew in his gut that that wasn't her real name either. He decided to leave it for now.

"So if you're from this other place, you've got your memories intact, right? Can you tell me what my name is?"

It was a long shot; he probably wouldn't be able to hear it, but he wasn't about to pass up the opportunity either.

He still couldn't work out why she seemed so flustered around him.

Orihime was sure Kagerou had said not to tell big information like that, and his name certainly seemed like the biggest thing of all. Was he testing her, maybe? Slowly, she shook her head.

"I know it, but... Kagerou said you might get hurt badly if I tell you."
