Tuesday Evening (Unknown Island, Frost Mountain), Just into it near the bridge hisbutler_bound June 16 2010, 00:13:20 UTC
His eyes blurred open faintly, not remember when he had passed out. Last thing he remembered was getting off work. Damn tree and its fun in knocking him out. What now? He couldn't feel his legs, looking down at the snowy frost covered ground, he noticed a long black tattered dress, torn and dismaded, cling to him like death. Oh, he knew where he was. He came here every chance he could. It was cold and comforting here. Full of solitude and refuge from others. He could visit the lighthouse all he wanted and be alone.

Except it was uncomfortable. His arms were bent back and raised, wrists tied firmly to a tree. They wouldn't move despite his demon strength, numb and uncooperative. With his shirt wide open, and his jacket missing -- Left near the bridge for someone to easily find it-- it was miserable. It didn't matter though. Either he'd expire here, or someone would come and get him.

Teeth gritted though into the cloth gag in his mouth, pretty sure that was his own tie, and he narrowed his eyes lightly at the snow. How he loathed this tree.

It wasn't often that Sailormoon found herself in Stuff Inc, but today was one of those days. She'd headed to the Yard Sale to see what she could find in terms of paper and fabrics to make more flowers. She'd spent her entire supply on making flowers for those who had been injured the week before and needed replacements for the shop. The Yard Sale always seemed to have the best selection.

But something in the distance caught her eye. Something crystalline. It pinged her and drew her near. She traveled closer to find she could reach it by a narrow bridge. Sailormoon poked the bridge with her foot and almost didn't cross it until she spotted someone's jacket halfway across hanging on the ropes. Tapping her chin for a moment, she decided to cross the bridge to at the very least pick up the jacket to find its owner (but truthfully, that was just an excuse to explore the island. It probably wasn't the brightest idea in the world, but she had a bit of a daredevil side that enjoyed the challenge.

And so Sailormoon crossed the bridge, picking the jacket up on the way and wrapping herself in it when the cold hit her. She was quite under-dressed for the occasion, wearing a pleated skirt and a short sleeved shirt, so she'd just borrow the jacket for now.

But the cold wasn't her biggest concern when she spotted someone tied to a tree. Approaching she recognized the frozen form. "Black-chan!" she shouted. Please let him be alive!

Black barely registered the life swarming at him from the distance. It had been cold and aching in his legs, evening if he couldn't feel them. He was sure the blood vessels had begun to shrink, constricting the blood flow to them. He faintly wondered in the mist of the cold if he could indeed develop frostbite.

By now, he had gotten tired of leaning back against the tree to reveal the pressure building in his arms. It's only when he heard his name, did he snap out of such odd thoughts. Raising his head, he blinked towards the sound, looking weary.

Oh good, he was still alive. That certainly was a relief but that brought about the question of how to get him down. He was most definitely stuck and she was far too short to reach. Maybe her heels would help?

She reached towards the sky with one hand, and shouted "Make up!" She couldn't remember the rest of the words, but they were all fuzzy anyway and those ones seemed to do the trick and she was suddenly engulfed in light and sparkles and transformed into her superhero outfit. Yet eve with the heels on her boots, she still couldn't reach his hands and he was pretty frozen. Oh what to do, what to do. Maybe magic.

Holding out her hand, a small pink wand appeared. "Please let this work." She pointed the heart-shaped wand at his wrists and hoped that the light, hearts, and whatever else came with it would be enough to free him from his bonds.

He pulled on his arms weakly when she tried to reach as if that would do any good at all and winced faintly at the burn near his shoulders. They were awkwardly stuck and backwards at this point.

He was pretty sure he was daydreaming or seeing things when she suddenly shouted out a cosmetic product, staring impassively at her. And now there was an uniform with a wand. Well, at least she had heart. He was hoping whatever magic she had could work.

That was until he was shot at with light, hearts, and other pink and bright things. When the bonds cut though, he had no stability in his legs and slapped face down into the snow.

"Am I dead?"

Sailormoon was pretty relieved that the magic worked. She'd had such issues with it that it was some sort of miracle that it did what it was supposed to. Or maybe she was finally getting it.

But that wasn't exactly the most prevalent thought on her mind as Black suddenly face-planted into the snow. She flailed for a second, as he was at least twice her height, then proceeded to yank on his sleeve to turn him over.

"No, you're not dead, Black-chan," Sailormoon replied, concern in her voice. "It's me, it's Sailormoon. I'm here to help you." Somehow. She didn't know if she had any sort of healing powers but maybe she could at least warm him up maybe.

He proceeded to roll, or more likely allowed himself to be rolled. Managing somehow on his back, his legs twitched as if trying to bend or make a movement to get up. It wouldn't work for now.

His lips parted, but not to tease or taunt, only to whisper, "Not dead. Then I am to believe you just changed clothes somehow before me and hearts released my bonds? I am starting to believe you are a halucination at this point. Logic reasons so. I have been out here a few nightfalls."

Well it did seem a bit ridiculous when he put it that way.

"It's magic," Sailormoon explained simply. "It's something I knew from before here." She wasn't entirely sure what to do with him yet. It wasn't as though she could drag him across that bridge. It was rickety enough as it were. She barely understood her own power, but maybe that warmth she felt from visiting the 4th floor had some sort of healing abilities? Well in the end it was worth the try. It surely wouldn't hurt anything or anyone in the area. It was good magic and Black was a good person.

She held her wand out over him and shut her eyes tightly, speaking to it in her mind, Please help Black-chan! She'd spoken to it before and it reacted, but this was a long stretch.

"Magic," he repeated, almost enthusiastically. He could believe that, but what kind of magic. His jacket was around her shoulders, but he didn't seem to mind or even want it back.

She was hovering that wand over him again. He mildly grimanced at the way she seemed so concerned. He wasn't worthy of that concern. It was almost foolish to wish humans to even think of him as a good person. Warmth was spreading through him, and he could feel a tingle in his legs, shifting one to bend, even if it mildly hurt from strain.

"You don't have to."

"I know we don't know each other well, but..." Sailormoon wasn't about to stop helping him, despite his objects. "You're a friend of Juliet-chan," she stated. She didn't know much about him, but she'd heard of him on multiple occasions, met him once or twice, too. And if he was a friend of Juliet, then for her, he was potentially her friend too. "I don't abandon friends."

She paused for a moment. This use of magic was a bit more exhausting than she had realized. Her power must be rusty or perhaps it was because she wasn't strong enough. If she wanted to be close to the real Sailor Moon, she had to become stronger. "Do you feel warmer?" There was definite worry drawn across her face, concern for his well-being.

Yes, that's right. She worked at the same shop Juliet did. It was no wonder she knew enough. Had Juliet spoken so highly of him? He breathed out a deep seated laugh, though it pained him to use his ribs so harshly. Sucking in all that cold air was becoming annoying.

His hands planted on the ground, and despite the pain, he tried to sit up, "A little warmer." Friends. Burn's double had told him he was truely uncapable of those feelings. Incapable of having friends. "You'll catch a cold out here."

Sailormoon shook her head, offering him a reassuring smile. "I'll be okay ♥" And if she did end up sick, she had Cara and Juliet to take care of her.

She resumed her stance, asking her power to help him heal and warm up. She could feel a sort of warmth and light inside of her, and she hoped that power would help him heal and warm up. There was no way she'd be able to carry him but she'd instead help him out in another way. At least that was the plan.

He'd feel terrible if she did, and probably bring her soup. Ah, it was too late, wasn't it? He already felt sucked into a friendship. A weak smile and he was up onto his knees, gripping the tree that had been his prison and hoisting himself up whether he would topple over again or not.

"You are truely too kind, Miss Saliormoon."

She watched him, worried, hoping he'd be able to at least walk, if even partially, just enough so she could get him to the clinic. Hopefully her magic was strong enough to do the trick, but she really didn't know the extent of what she could do and how she could use it quite yet.

She smiled at this words and blushed a little. "Thanks~", she giggled.

His legs were week, trembling and straining, but the warmth through him was suprisingly gentle, and he could stand a while longer. He most likely wouldn't try to run unless he had to at the moment. It was rare he ever walked anywhere, and doing so now seemed off, but he would. And she was giggling. Children were quite amusing and happy. He lightly patted her head, not knowing what else to do, and tried to walk, stumbling faintly.

He was going to need help, "It's the truth."

Sailormoon smiled at the pat but quickly flailed when she stumbled. "You can lean on me if that helps!" She wasn't much of a crutch, as she didn't even reach his waist, but she'd help wherever she could.
