Summary: Crow received a cryptic note with his first memory crystal--now that the shock of the memory has worn off, he's decided to follow up on the mystery. What magical mysterious people will he meet?

Crow had memorized the message that came with his memory, and then burned the scrap of paper the same night. He hadn’t really had the mental resources to consider the meaning behind the code until now, however-too many thoughts focused on his memory and the meaning behind everything it had revealed about himself and his true nature. Or what might be his true nature. It still unsettled him to think about, but there wasn’t much he could do about it, and in the mean time the cryptic message offered a puzzle that might, at least, be more easily and immediately deciphered.
…Leftmost third, straight path, green island… But walk on air? Crow walked carefully down the path of the park, his limited vision blurring the otherwise nice scenery to a bleary green sameness. He felt exposed without the metallic suit on, walking with a technique that at once required a certain amount of concentration and yet at the same time came as easily to him as breathing. He could float, he knew, but there was something more comforting about having solid ground to brace and anchor to, then to float about like a lost feather on a stray breeze.
He wasn’t sure what he was looking for exactly, and if he’d even see it, or know it if he did, but his mind refused to let him walk away from the mystery.
